In secondary school, students explore a variety of routes and establish their core foundation before selecting subjects according to their interests and intended course of their tertiary studies.
Secondary school students are prepared for the International Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), registered trademark of Cambridge International Examinations (CIE). While they are in lower secondary, they are exposed to a range of subjects, allowing them to explore various themes and areas. In upper secondary, they get to choose which subjects to take for their IGCSE examination. As the IGCSE is an internationally-recognised qualification accepted by colleges and universities around the world, graduates can pick from numerous pathways to further their studies.
