Co-Curriculum Activities

The education of your children is a serious endeavour, and we give full attention to every facet of your child’s education at Crescendo-HELP International School, including extra and co-curricular activities. Co-curricular activities are carried out outside the normal classrooms and they supplement the academic curriculum and help in learning by doing. These activities help students to develop problem-solving, reasoning, critical thinking, creative thinking, communication, and collaborative abilities.

All students at CHIS are encouraged to participate in our many clubs, societies and sports teams.

CHIS Sports Operating Procedure (SOP) - Covid 19

The Physical Education (PE) Department at CHIS is happy and excited to be able to start practical lessons. We have looked carefully at the published guidelines and we are confident that our lessons will comply with them. We have produced an SOP which is attached to help explain how we will provide PE and Swimming.

Correct social distancing will be in place during all practical lessons and we will not be teaching any sports which involve physical contact. In instances where equipment is used it will be cleaned before and after the lesson. Swimming will strictly follow the school SOP with a limited number of students in each lane and a minimum of a five-second gap between swimmers.

Only techniques/skill and conditioned games with physical distancing during lessons and coaching sessions will be conducted.

Equipment will be disinfected/cleaned before and after use. Changing room and PE rooms will be cleaned at break and lunch time. Changing room’s usage will be kept to a small capacity.

Sports fixtures arranged for sports where physical distancing can be implemented safely (E.g. Badminton, Swimming, Track and Field)

Swimming to be conducted in line with “FINA Back to Water Covid-19 Guidelines” with a minimum of 4 swimmers per lane (25m pool), with a

On the days of PE, Primary and Secondary students are allowed to be in PE kit for the entire day.

Students to bring in their own water bottles clearly labelled with names and their own sweat towels.
